Hope for those who need it most.
The harsh reality is the majority of schools, particularly in the rural regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, do not have the proper facilities or access to the vital resources and materials needed to provide their students with proper education. Of course, there are many factors that play into improving an educational institution, but in providing the most basic tools, such as pencils and paper, we can create a more successful learning environment.
Here's Where Our story began
When faced with this reality, our founder, Sara Mwamlima felt compelled to act. Our nonprofit efforts started with supplying school children in Malawi with the essential tools needed to write or complete homework assignments. By that we help equip students to make an honest effort in their academic careers.
BAckpacks, Classrooms, and Beyond
As support for our organization has grown, we have been able to lead classroom rebuilding and renovation projects that provide students with more efficient spaces for learning. While our focus remains on the BACKPACK DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM, our hopes are that in the future, we will be able to rebuild many classrooms across Africa and provide access to training and resources for the teachers and faculty that serve these institutions.
