the percentage of Sub-Saharan students not enrolled in school
(According to UIS)
Majority of students are able to start off school from the beginning. At this age school fee’s are cheaper and household responsibilities are less prominent.
By this age, school fees start to increase, which starts to make it harder for the families to pay. Also, at home responsibilities start to add up.
By now, maintaining school cost have become out of their families means. Support is needed at home where young men are expected to help bring in money, and women are expected to help take of the house.
